	A German immigrant and homesteader built this stone fence around 1883 using stones cleared from surrounding fields
	The care taken in placing the stones is characteristic of work done by German settlers in this area

	Station Park was built in 1994 on the site of the old Killaloe Railway Station
	The original train station was demolished in 1968

Water Tower Park

One of only two remaining wooden water towers in Ontario. Outdoor museum of railway and farm equipment. Railway Museum located nearby in the original Barry's Bay railway station.

Crooked Slide Park

	Faithfully restored chute on Byers Creek This is a fine example of chutes used to carry logs over the rock waters of several Ottawa Valley rivers including the Madawaska, the Bonnechere, and the Ottawa. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
